The second partner meeting of the Interreg IT-SLO Poseidone Project

Today, in the heart of the Val Stagnon Nature Reserve, organized by Naravni rezervat Škocjanski zatok and Regionalni razvojni center Koper, the second meeting of the partners of the Interreg IT-SLO Poseidone Project will take place, in conjunction with the World Wetlands Day.
This year, with a focus on the urgency of addressing climate change and biodiversity loss, World Wetlands Day calls for concrete action at local and global levels. Projects like POSEIDONE are essential to promote local development based on needs and challenges common to the north of the Adriatic region, with particular attention to nature and biodiversity conservation. The Day offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the importance of vital ecosystems and actively engage in their protection and restoration. Education, training and public awareness play a crucial role in raising awareness of the benefits of wetlands and the threats they face.
